NSW Central West XC Mountain Bike Interclub Race Series #3 Clandulla

Meeting Point: 

Clandulla State Forest is on the western side of Bylong Valley Way, opposite the village. The turn in is 10.5km from the Castlereagh Hwy Kandos Rylstone turnoff

Here's all the information for Round 3 at Clandulla on Sunday August 28th.

We'll be running a 4 hour race starting at 12 Midday.
The first lap will be 15km in length so we can include Fish Skin Run, our most contested segment. Subsequent laps will be about a kilometre shorter. The majority of the course is singletrack with only a very short time spent on fireroad/logging tracks.

Elevation gain on the first lap is 309m, less on subsequent laps.

Join the CareFlight Woodford to Glenbrook Classic 2016 and run or ride the Oaks Fire Trail through the beautiful Blue Mountains National Park from the town of Woodford to the Euroka Clearing near Glenbrook.
Covering 25km of undulating bushland, the trail is incredibly scenic and a must for keen mountain bikers and trail runners.

Kinross State Forest
Meeting Point: 

The city of Orange is around 4 hrs from Sydney and 3 hrs from Canberra. Kinross State Forest is situated on the northeast edge of town, a 10 minute drive or 20 minute ride from the Orange town centre.

Meet at the Bulgas Road carpark, Western edge of the forest.

Drive out from Orange on the Ophir Rd, before you reach the rubbish tip, turn right onto Bulgas Rd. Follow this about 2km to the forest (the road turns to gravel).

Note that the 'Directions there' google maps link below may not give the best route/destination. It seems that google maps ignores Bulgas Rd when selecting a route and gives the next closest spot. The 'Meeting point' link should be correct.

Please DO NOT park on the side of the road here, if the gate is shut then park at the Lake and walk/ride across.

From the highway come into Rydal, cross the train tracks and take a left before the Pub (Showground signposted.)

Go around the top side of the show ground and follow the road around to the left. This will take you around towards the top side of the cemetery. from there a couple of cross rd will bring you back tot he bicentennial trail and thus the car park

Also the come and try incentive is back too, so your first race with us is free.

If you could click the star to show your intention of coming so we get an idea of numbers that would be great.

6:30 race start so 5:30pm rego opens, if you are new or need to renew your license please turn up earlier rather than later.
