The tree across the DH section from Shaw's ridge is now removed. There are plenty of debris everywhere of course, since the wind keeps up. Some massive gums came down in the past few weeks since...

The send-traps on Shaw's ridge are coming back up again, probably due to the super dry conditions going on for weeks now. Otherwise all good.

There is a tree down on the fire trail heading out to Grose Head. You can just get under it or try to walk around it. There are sandy patches along the trails, however if you hit them at speed...

All open although a tad smelly after the fires and then the rain, and all clear after Shaw's Ridge (the RFS even got rid of the logs across the trail near the bottom of Bees Nest).

Done a loop yesterday to see how the conditions were. Large puddles, boggy mud sections and trees down blocking path, not much fun. Won't be going around again until a little more sunshine.

Muddy bogs in the usual spots. One of them now has a massive branch across it so walkers/riders have made a trail about a metre further into the bush to get around it. NO GOOD!

Blue gum swamp, trail sandy in spots with some large mud puddles at the bottom of Shaws ridge.

The track is nice and tacky. Puddles in the usual spots, but this bout of rain hasn't affected the swamp and causeways much, which is a shame as the swamp needs a good cleanse.
